I can't sign up to Noddle

Options
So I was advised earlier today by my mortgage advisor to sign up for Noddle in order for us to look at my credit report. Upon getting home from work, I got to it straightaway.

I filled in my personal details (name, email, contact number, address, etc.) and then I was asked some security questions (such as who I bank with, when I took out a mobile contract and so on) and then the page went to 'finding' my report. After about 5mins the page timed out, then I was alerted that there was an issue with the server.

I have tried a few times again since, but am told straight after entering my personal details - so even before the security questions - that they are unable to verify who I am.

Of course, getting my credit report for my mortgage advisor is something I need to do pretty urgently.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

Hi audienceandaudio and welcome to the forum :)

Get your statutory report for free from Noddle's parent company CallCredit

And get copies of your other two credit reports, whether he's asked for them or not.

  • And are you sure I won't be charged for this? As I've read on other forum posts that people noticed charges of £12 after a few months.

No, a Statutory Report is free. Use the links I provided so you don't get manoeuvred into signing up for the subscription services.

  • Thank you.

I have been doing this while on the phone to my mortgage advisor - we checked out Experian but it didn't give us much (I think I had to pay to see more) but I signed up with the Call Credit link you gave me, which then after all the security questions, gave me a page full of numbers and info - I have now passed this onto my mortgage advisor. So fingers crossed!

I really appreciate all of this help, so thank you everyone. You've all been very quick to respond!

The Statutory Reports are all free. It's the law ;)

  • Can I ask, just while I'm here... what might the reason be that they are unable to verify who I am? My partner has just tried and they've managed no problem. I am definitely on the electoral registered and I've managed to sign up to Clear Score and Experian absolutely no problem.

I would think it is most likely that you failed the verification of your ID process.

    What you could try is:
On your browser, get your Statutory Report from CallCredit open on one tab, with Noddle application going on the next tab. Then, when Noddle ask you for the information for verification purposes, you can cross-reference your answers with the data held on the CallCredit report.
That's what I had to do...

  • I would assume the criteria would match without me having to do that, as all I am filling in at that point is things such as my name, date of birth, address, etc.
