Grant of Probate name spelt wrong

my Middle name is missing the last but one letter ending in ‘y’ instead of ‘ey’, will this be a problem when opening an executors account? I thought I may have to show my passport which has the correct spelling and it may holds things up. What should I do?

I wouldn't expect it to be a problem, but why not ask the probate office to reissue the grant with the correct name on?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Thanks for your reply. I think i’ll do that. Hopefully they won’t take too long to amend and return it.The most important things in life aren't 'things'0 -
Very unlikely to be a problem - why not ask the bank with whom you intend to open your executor account? They need to be sure of your identity and a missing e in your middle name doesn't sound too desperate, especially if you already bank with them on your own behalf.0

They managed to get my name and address spelled wrongly.
It made no difference to anyone I dealt with, but then I may just have been lucky.0 -
Thanks for your replies. I went to my local Probate Office today and they reissued the Grant with the correct spelling there and then. It took less than 10 minutes.
