How to reset MIL?
Comments
-
It is a known transmission problem, an actuator failure. It may need 1k-4k to fix it. The car drives well for now and it does not work more than 1k.
Why would a transmission problem put the MIL on? Usn't there a gearbox warning lamp? What car is it?
BMW X series are known for transfer actuator failure (just turn the plastic gear round to a bit with teeth still on to fix it) and that turns on the 4x4 light and the ABS lamp not the MILI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

The code said it's a transmission thing and the dealer said there is a fault in the actuator. It's Mitsubishi Colt 2006 diesel automatic.0
