Re-mortgaging, is it a good idea to open an ISA Simultaneously?

Hi I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice.
I bought my house a in Feb 2016 and now plan on releasing equity from the property for home improvements. Myself and my G/F were hoping to do this in February, but due to personal circumstance had to put it off for a couple of months. We have started the process and we're now at the point where it should only be around a month away before we've fully remortgaged and received the money we've released for the improvements.
I'm also in the fortunate position of being able to invest some of my monthly wages into an S&S ISA. I want to do this ASAP, however I feel reluctant to do it whilst the remortgaging process takes place.
Will it affect my credit score? Could it cause issues with remortgaging? I'm not clued up with how my credit score works, so don't want to crack on if it will cause issues - but I also want to start investing this money sooner rather than later!
Thanks.

Nothing can affect your credit score since it's made up.
Putting money into an ISA is not reported to credit reference agencies anyway0
