Hi...I am in one hell of a mess, i have received 3 parking charges in the post over a two week period!! I know i paid for the parking as on each occasion i have a meal in the pub with the same friend and if you take your parking ticket into the pub they refund you the cost of parking. I didn't keep the parking ticket from the machine (who does) ....the price of each fine has been esculated to £160!! the company DRP are acting on behalf of Britannia Parking, and are now threatening court action..I panicked as i felt very threatened and sent the company an email i couldn't pay it...no reply. I cannot prove any of what i have said...it is all done by Camera....I am registered disabled and have a mobility car...i have looked through the forum and information and cannot find an answer to this problem....Please help as i am at my wits end...Many thanks louise x

The very first thing you need to do is change your thread title if that's your real name there.

Go into 'edit' your post then choose 'go advanced'.
Then type something more meaningful in the title box.

The parking companies monitor these forums just waiting for people to trip themselves up.

Have you at any point made contact with the pub?

do you own a smartphone?


The pub, as principal has the power to cancel these things, even if they don't think they do, you should, at this stage be looking at two outcomes, and if you say the correct things to the pub you should be O.
Result 1: the cancellation of the pakring charges by the pub keep any correspondence stating they have been cancelled, or the pub has instructed that they be cancelled, do not call, leave a trace ie e-mail

Result 2: get a statement from the pub stating that they do not want this matter pursuing through the courts, keep a record of this communication
If you are successful at either 1 or 2, then you must inform the pakring company that their principal does nto want this pursuing, and as such they must cancel any parking charge notice, and cease processing your data.


And one last thing, stop worrying- see this for what it is and you will be OK.
