Dented around door lock

I just bought a Toyota aygo cheap as someone has attempted to break in by pushing the lock through from the outside. The lock has been put back in the correct position but it is surrounded by small dents and scratches around the lock. I'm worried it will rust. Is there any good solution other than replacing door! Can you fill dents or use something to protect from rust?
Thanks for any help.

    Yes and yes.

Krust, then Body filler, then paint it.

Get a couple of those "dents away" type of people to take a look at it ... might do a "proper job" for a good/low price. Small area, should be "straight forward". Get quotes and see.... if the bloke says £25 take his arm off.... job done, properly.
