Hey All,
I have read the newbies thread and I am making this thread for any assist and tracking/updates for people to see,
Background
My middle son was diagnosed with Cancer of blood, Leukaemia, at 11 weeks and has since been in remission and then relapsed and only recently (8th December) had a bone marrow transplant, due to muscle atrophy and various side affects he is disabled and will continue to be so for at least the next 3-4 years (he is now 3 an a half) mentally he has also regressed and only just begin nappy training

04/08/2018
Took my sister-in-law to her flight, drove through the drop off at terminal 3, paid the £3 and just as we left the point my middle son claims he needs the toilet, I drove the the "Airport" pub around the corner where many patrons visit to watch the planes come and go, parked in the disabled bay, displayed the disabled badge, entered the establishment took my 3 sons (1 year old, middle son and eldest 7 year old) discovered middle son had soiled himself, had to throw his underpants and jeans into the bin and get my eldest son to go commando in his jeans to allow my middle son something to wear, almost akin to shorts the boxer shorts were, we then left the toilet, said thanks, got to the car, I text my registration to the number displayed on the ticket machine knowing i had to pay £1 for the 1 hour (28 minutes I was there) got in the car and left for home, when i got home i checked my phone and I had a text back from said text number stating it was in the incorrect format and I must resend as the following ""The location number, followed by parking duration, 3 digit CVV & Number plat e.g. 1234 10m 123 PLATE." I only text them earlier because the contactless didn't work and no option for chip and pin, but now that I am home the text didn't help me with whom to contact for the information nor could i find it...
Correspondance
14/08/2018 I received in the post a PCN/NTK from Parkingeye stating a £100 fine but I can pay £60 if i pay before 24/08/2018 (how nice of them....)
I have called the Airport public house, they said they can only check registrations against the ANPR and I would need to call head office, called the Robinsons brewery switchboard, they placed me to their Retail operations team ofwhich took all of the information I have just type up earlier from the "incident" part, and they also asked me to email them the PCN/NTK to their correspondence email yesterday, I called 2 hours later to ensure they received that email and they confirmed,
15/08/2018 I called Retail operations at Robinsons brewery and the same lady confirmed she has forwarded onto their area manager to investigate and possibly rebuke or not depending on what they can do about it, I called back to a different department (i'm persistant) and asked to be put through to the area manager and I was told his line was engaged and my phone number will be passed over to him and that I am chasing,
I have also sent an appeal at the same time (as per the guidance on newbies) to parkingeye by selecting Registered Keeper, ensuring the "name" field I typed "registered keeper" despite what was on their letter and when asked reason for appeal selected other... so I am also awaiting to hear back from them
I am now writing on here so that it may help others or if i need to go to POPLA/Parkingeye turns me down/Area Manager cannot help i can ask for help
Any further advice/guidance/thoughts are always greatly appreciated

Check the PE online data to see that the sum 'due' changes to £0.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I went to PE online, click on pay a car parking charge, typed in my reference on the PCN/NTK XXXXXX/XXXXX and it still says £60
I guess I wait and check it periodically and also keep the email I received from Robinsons brewery on record?

PE only rush when they are owed money, not when there
is no money for them.
Keep all correspondence as there is nothing they can do
after the instructions to cancel0 -
Until you get confirmation from pe don't let any appeal deadline pass!0

So don't miss out on the next stage appeal if you don't get confirmation from them0

PE take around 7-10 days to confirm cancellation in writing. They are usually pretty efficient at doing this.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
