Got to be worth a punt, I think.
Usual downsides on these offers apply, could find lower cost platform etc.

Terms say S&S ISA only and all 500 gone now.0 -
Thanks Alex. Always on the lookout for GIA offers :-).0

Just received this email:
"Congratulations! As one of the first 500 MoneySavingExpert readers to deposit £1000 into your Wealthsimple account, we'll be adding a £100 bonus to your account."
I got a GIA open and funded at about 14:00 this afternoon. I guess I must have been one of the last of the 500. Did anybody else make it? The offer was meant to run until November!
Not particularly convinced by their robo advice. Some of the questions were not particularly well explained. e.g. "How much debt do you have?" No explanation of what sort of debt we're talking about. I didn't seem to find an option for just picking my own risk level so I had to take the survey again and change my answers to get the fund selection I wanted!0 -
Interesting you got it on a GIA; looks like you were just in time.
I just went back to the page and it still says "The deal below is for stocks & shares ISAs only" at which point I stopped reading but later it says "The £1,000 can be deposited into any type of Wealthsimple investment account".

Maybe ClaireLeRoc from Wealthsimple will come back to the forum to clarify the terms?

I saw that too. From the way it's laid out I think the first line about the offer being for S&S ISA's only may refer to whatever offer was on that page before the Wealthsimple offer came along and it just never got deleted.0 -

Yes probably an MSE editorial error but annoying as we would have signedup for a couple of accounts.
