Mailer Deamon

For some reason (I'm presuming my e-mail address has been sold on) I keep getting mailer deamon noticifications. Delvery failures, and they're to people I haven't even sent messages to. Whta do I do now? Delete my e-mail address? Who do I report this to? It's a yahoo address.

Look at the header file and see if the email actually originated from your account ( which I doubt it did ). I sometimes get these but they are just spam. They sometimes have attachments with them which you should never, ever open.

A techie friend of mine tried to repair it but in the end he had to re-install Windows Xp.
I would never ever open another Damon mailer email, mind you the one i had when i read it it said ...Hi, Good luck !

Actually if they're delivery failures then they could be perfectly legitimate. It's just that some spammer has been using your email address as his return address so all the spam that doesn't go to existing addresses gets bounced back to the return address which is yours. Not much you can do about it though. You can't really ask the spammer to stop pretending to send from your address.
