Hi Is 10,900kwh/year a lot of electricity to use in a 2 bed flat? The flat is all electric and has electric heaters which heat up instantly. There is only a water heater - no other storage.

not too sure - economy 7 or just flat rate?

to give you an idea - my electric usage in 3 bed terrace, family of 4, is 11000kkwh a year. water and heating is gas.....

electric heating does use quite a bit, so i would assume that the amount seems average? hopefully someone with same type of scenario could better explan

    I think you mean 11,000kWh?
10,900kWh pa is perfectly normal for an all-electric property.
Electric heating doesn't use any more energy than any other form of heating, it just costs more per kWh than gas.
In fact it uses less, as it's 100% efficient.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yes, 11000kwh/years does seem very high with gas. I looked online it states on average electric bills are £49/month:

    Hi

Your Gas seems to be similar to mine ours is a 2 bed mid terrace. The Electric does seem a little on the high side. Do you cook with Gas or Electric?
