I keep getting these on one of my Gmail accounts - I have 'allow less secure apps' turned on but still I get these annoying messages.
It's the account that is associated to my 'foreign sim' phone which lives at home, but I still check emails on my other phone when out and about.
Is it that it's getting a log in at home and 'away' that's confusing it?
Any way to stop it complaining??

I don't think it's a malware thing - I've clicked on all the links which just ask me to confirm it was me - I say 'yes' and carry on.0 -

On my phone, I use K9 mail to check two gmail accounts and two 1&1 accounts
It never gives the 'alert' on both gmails at the same time
My BP@gmail (which has only been open since June 2018) had three alerts in Feb and one on Saturday
My BC@gmail (which has been open for years) has had 24 in the last 10 months!

I use the web page access to Gmail on my PC/laptop and the Gmail app on my iPhone. I personally find both work fine, and I exchange a lot of emails. Is there any point using Thunderbird?0 -
Does it say anything else besides the critical alert? That's the one with the red band on top of the screen, is it? Been a while since I've seen one.0

Yes when you have a lot of email addresses. fetch them all in one single program.
