One minute the OP is saying that the Gs letter says to pay G24, then (because that really doesn't link with the 5xxx reference number) is asked to check again. This time it's (as anticipated) pay DRP.

We've already wasted lots of time chasing shadows. @OP, please read our questions carefully, then make sure you answer accurately, otherwise you could find advice moving in the wrong direction for the real issue you have.

G24 sue nobody, so why are we even discussing a debt collector letter to ignore?

Homebase can cancel this any time.

  • So my friends been complaining alot to Homebase. They said to contact G24 directly to resolve the matter which they refused to do As they will probably . That's correct right?

They also asked Homebase to contact G24 as landowners and they replied

"I'm afraid we're not the landowners of the car park and the fact of their a thrid party company, we're not able to make them do anything. We can appeal on our customers behalf, but that doesn't mean they have to listen as the contract is very specific on times we can overturn a fine"

They have then done a bit of reading up on breast feeding mothers and asked Homebase to remind G24 of the Equality act 2010. Hopefully if they are talking to each other this may help.

Complaints to Homebase manager and/or CEO is the first and best and only thing to do unless you get real court papers, which seems unlikely.

Have you read post 4 of the NEWBIES and shown it to your friend? It is very important that you do so.

Homebase need to be talking to themselves as they are the ones you would go after under EA 2010. They must provide reasonable adjustment in their car park and their agent G24 should be facilitating that. Minimum damages - £500. Remind them via a Letter Before Action, and you could serve a MCOL for £500 for a £35 filing fee. That would kick them a jolt. They'd have to defend or lose by default.

Powerful bit of ammo for you.
