ESB energy

On another price comparison site ESB offer a two year fix for dual fuels at a lower price than some other suppliers offer for one year. This is on the UK mainland, not in Northern Ireland. does anyone know anything about this?

I have to look an awlful long way down a comparison site to find this supplier for me.
Hence, no interest for me at this time, sorry.
Presumably not much interest for other MSEers either, based on the lack of response to the thread I linked you to previously

When I do a comparison, this plan comes further down but below the variable plans and a 12 month for me. The advantage is that it is a fixed two year plan.

People look at the short term benefit. i.e. if it is cheap right now go for it. However, don't forget the variable plans are the first to get hit when prices rise. IMO prices will inevitably rise in the autumn anyway and don't forget the uncertainty over BrExit. In the next two year window I think this is a good plan to go for.
