Invoice different from quote

Hi there,
I recently paid an invoice which was different from the price quoted to me. I didn't really notice because the invoice came in as £7.81pp ex VAT and the price quoted was £7.18pp ex VAT. I ordered 200 so I'm about £150 down. Do I have any recourse? Any help appreciated!

Sorry your mistake - be more careful next time.
I presume you are not VAT registered.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
No, not VAT registered. I guessed as much re the invoice. At least it wasn't 000s and a wee bit of learning!0

You really should call your supplier....
They have made a mistake (either in their quotation or when invoicing).
Unless they are a disreputable organisation, they should give you a refund of the difference.
just be polite... "I think you have made a small mistake that I didn't notice originally, would you please give me a refund?"

As above just speak to supplier and request a refund0

Pretty much depends on your relationship with the supplier.
I would start off going back to them with a polite message explaining that they must have transposed the digits in the invoice to the quote. See where that gets you.
Nest thing, people are (unsurprisingly) reluctant to hand back money, is it something you are likely to want more of? I know its more outlay but asking them for an extra 10% discount on the next 200 is a possible route, they are then thinking, cool more sales and if you are likely to use up all of them, then overall, net zero.0
