Lots of monitor and repair if nessary came up in MOT
Hi,
I have recently got MOT done on ford focus 2007 Diesel and it came with following as "Monitor and repair if necessary".
Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
I am monitoring breaks and tyres on regular basis and replacing it when I can. But not sure what to make up of the others. I do about 1200 miles a month.
Which one of these looks dangerous and should be immediately looked at?

Track rod end and shock absorbers - do both sides. Everything else is just mostly a bit of surface rust and the kinds of things to be expected on a 12 year old car and not really much you can do about it. You could pay for the car to be re-undersealed but TBH almost all of that is MOT tester backside covering. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Does look like its been well serviced but nothing that £1000 wouldnt sort out. If it was dangerous then the tester would of failed it.
When was the last time it was serviced?0 -
Thanks, How much should it roughly cost in West Midlands?
It was just been serviced a 15 days ago at a different garage. I live away a lot hence I do servicing in the town I am staying. The MOT was done in West Midlands.0 -

You got a pass, but I hope you are not thinking about selling it, with that long list.
All tyres have uneven wear, are they meaning on the edges? Have you swopped your front tyres for the back ones, because the tracking needs doing?0
