Resolver tool Question

Hello,
I was just looking through the resolver tool for reclaiming PPI and when it asks for the date you took out your policy it does not give any option after 2010. Why is this? What if I took something out after 2010?
Many thanks
Marc

Probably because any ppi sold around, or after that time would have a comprehensive audit trail proving the policies were correctly sold, so therefore, any complaints about mis-selling could be proved wrong.

The PPI issue was known by the mid 2000s and most stopped selling the bad types of PPI by 2008 with only a few stragglers after that until it was banned from being sold at the same time as a credit agreement.

Hence the no need to include sales made after that.

What, specifically, are you planning to complain about?

By 2010, all the major banks had ceased offering PPI on credit cards and loans.

As always with Resolver, if the E-Mail template does not fit your personal circumstances then simply complain directly without the involvement of any third party.

Never say never. Even the most robust selling procedures and audit trail are still open to failure.
  • You missed a bit out when you quoted . . . the sentence started:
    Probably because . . . . . .
    :D It wasn't a definitive answer :p
