Failed MOT - getting nowhere with repairs !!!128546;

Hi looking for some advice please..

I have a zafira 1.9cdti 06 plate that failed it's MOT last week. We take it to a council vehicle garage so work cannot be carried out by them just the MOT.

The work involved was coming to around £700 for a garage to fix. Our friend is a mechanic and has fixed most of the failures for us. However, my husband started the car to take it to be retested today and the EML has come back on. This was cleared when we replaced the EGR valve. He has also had the service light stay on this afternoon too.

I have the following error code:
ECU 19010F

It's due to go to the garage at 3:30 tomorrow to see if they can do anything on top of the £300 worth of parts we have already changed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

    My EML comes on and has been cleared a couple of times. I cleared the faults myself yesterday, as I took it for its retest this morning.
    It seems to show a 'check injector' fault, then clears after 20 minutes, fault code is P0010, it seemslike the EML comes on after 3 faults.

    Its quite easy to clear the fault, not sure how quickly yours would come back.

    Isn't 1901 the fault code for the dpf being blocked.
  • Not sure. We have ordered a fault code reader from Amazon which should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully that will shed a bit more light on it :o

    I'd suggest getting it scanned with something like OPCOM rather than one of those internet special code scanners. It might be more likely to offer better info on what's wrong
  • Type 19010F into Google and you’ll find the answer - I did in seconds. :)
  • 19010f is a manufacturer specific code that relates to the DPF. A generic code reader won't be much help with that.
