Boiler Grant help

Could anyone offer any advise please, I currently have a back boiler which is broken I tried to arrange getting new one fitted with British gas but they wouldn't except us for the payment plan (as would be £4000 give or take) an as we have a IVA (3 yrs left). since then I have tried 4 different boiler grant sites, either said there's no availability for grants in my area or I wouldn't be excepted again because of the IVA, I also tried my local council property improvement loan but wouldn't except us. I'm really stuck on what to do now as only have a seasonal job that ends October at the moment (will be trying to get Christmas job nearer time) so not even enough time to save up the most I think we'll be able to save will be about £1500 at a push. I have 2 young kids and really want/need it sorting before the weather changes again

In your situation I wouldn't be looking at BG, since they typically charge around 40% more than a local independent RGI for a new install.
Who told you it is broken and not repairable? If it was BG, get another opinion.
