Where can I buy door handles similar to upvc door handles

I need to replace the door handle on my shed but having difficulties with finding the correct part. I initially purchased a 92pz UPVC door handle thinking it would do as the measurements were sufficient.
However it turned out I could not use it as the top and bottom screws holes are raised. Locksmith was reluctant to make holes in door to accommodate handle as wood is brittle. Says I need ones with flat screw holes.
Can anyone advise on where I can source the correct part for wooden doors ?
Link below hopefully demonstrates what I mean by raised screw holes:

Try searching for euro lock door handles for wooden doors.

The trouble is that the raised screw holes are necessary to provide sufficient material for the screws to screw into. Otherwise a sharp pull on the handle might simply strip the thread if it was only a couple of mm deep.
I think you'll need to either accommodate the screws or look for a different type of handle.0 -
You could add a piece of wood to the door both inside and out to accommodate the handle. A pretty easy solution tbh, it would also strengthen the handle area if it's that brittle.0

I had a similar problem with front door handle. I broke and I bought a replacement per measurements. Alas it won't stay put. Called a locksmith one of the holes needed to be made bigger.0
