Hi, I currently have broadband with Orange and for the past few weeks the connection keeps randomly disconnecting and saying I have no dial tone. This isn't the case as the phone still works but the lights on the toolbar change status to show no connection possible. This lasts a couple of seconds then they change back and I can try to reconnect. It never reconnects on the first attempt and gives a message that I can't remember now
but will write down next time. I usually manage to reconnect on the second attempt.
Does anyone know if this is caused by my PC or if it's Orange being rubbish again. If it is Orange's fault does anyone use Sky for broadband as thinking of changing to a bundled pack from them.
thanks

If your using a router could be your router dropping out for a few seconds mine does it now and then. Before you go with Sky check that there service is available in your area. If its not they will offer broadband connect at £19.99 a month which is seperate from the bundles they are offering.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good
Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:
Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right

Thanks, I don't think I have a router as we use a speedtouch modem thing. We've been with them since freeserve days so I think the equipment we have is quite old. I've done an update/download..sorry not very techie, I know.. but it hasn't improved things. Thanks for the heads up on sky, I'm off to check now.:smileyhea0
