Cat with chronic diarrhoea - HELP!

She already had a senior specialist vet investigating!
Then I think the chances of anybody on here being able to give you any better advice is slim.
You need to go back to that specialist, or get a second opinion from another specialist. Its definitely a situation that needs professional advice not from strangers on the internet.0 -
Please could you ask your brother if he has any lilies growing in his garden.
"All parts of the lily plant are considered toxic to cats, and consuming even small amounts can cause severe poisoning. Kittens are particularly prone to being poisoned as they explore their environment, and older cats are often affected simply because they brush against the flower and get pollen on their coats.18 Apr 2011"

She already had a senior specialist vet investigating!
But that vet hasn't given you any answers so you either need to go back or ask for a referral to another specialist.
Or di you opt out of any further investigations as you commented that the specialist said you could spend money to get an answer.
If the cause os not known then nobody can say how many investigations would be needed tp get the answer.
It is usual to test for routine things first and then move on to the more unusual things.
My vets had no answer to my dog's condition until I saw a new vet in the practice who had not long qualified. On our first visit he thought he knew what the problem was. Tests proved him to be correct.
A fresh mind had found the answer was a very unusual condition in dogs.
You haven't replied if his liver has been investigated.
I mentioned the liver as a friend's pup ingested paraquat. He vomited almost immediately while being rushed to the vet. He appeared to be none the worse and it was thought because he had vomited so quickly he had avoided any damage.
Months later he became unwell and was eventually pts. A PM found his liver had not grown , probably from when he ingested the poison.0 -
Our kitten had diarrhoea at 6 weeks and it continued for months. Like you we had a lots of tests done and tried "sensitive foods" Nothing worked so eventually we tried ordinary sachets of cat food ( sorry too long ago to remember which one and it worked ) Sounds like it may be worth a try !!!8230; as nothing to lose Do hope you soon finds an answer x0
