Letter before Claim
Pythagoras1983
Nearly a year ago I recieved a PCN from Parking Awareness, taking the advice of this forum I have chose to ignore all letters so far from themselves and Debtlogic. Forgot to say I live in Scotland and the event happened in Scotland. I have never contacted them. The initial letters referred to me as the registered keeper, however I have now recieved a Letter Before Claim which now refers to me as the driver of the vehicle.
Any advice?

Two options I think.
1) Ignore and hope that the court, if the PPC are stupid enough to actually make a claim, realise the keeper lives in Scotland.
2) Tel the PPC that the keeper lives in Scotland and as there is no keeper liability, and is therefore out of jurisdiction.
Personally I would go with option 1
If you get get court papers and they are from a Scottish court, come back for more advice.
If they are from an English court, write back and tell them they have made a mistake as the keeper is out of their jurisdiction.
