Inchcape Financial Services

Hi,
I took out a finance loan for a car many years ago, with a company called Inchcape Financial Services. I also made this premium called "Monthly Creditcare Premium". I was wondering whether this is something that can be claimed back as it maybe similar to PPI, I'm not sure, any ideas from anyone?
Thanks in Advance..

They key is going to be the date.
Inchcape Financial Services is no longer a regulated company. It was regulated from 14th January 2005 to 18/03/2016. However, it was an appointed rep of Bank of Scotland between 17th Sept 2007 and 18th March 2016. and Capital Bank between 14th Jan 2005 and 17th Sept 2007.
If you bought the loan and ppi before 14th January 2005, then its pre-regulation and as the firm is no longer authorised you have no-one to complain to. Game over.
If you bought after 14th January 2005, then you can still complain to Inchcape Financial Services as they do still exist. Even though they are no longer regulated. Although its more likely they would forward the complaint to their principal (as they were appointed reps) which is Bank Of Scotland.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
