Right then thats what I am gonna do then. I'll ring up the CAB tomorrow morning and ask them to get in contact with my credit card guys.

The other point is about the job. I've been offered the job on 10k a year and even I thought that was low. I've got a three month probation first, if duringthe three months, could I leave if I find a job with better pay?
  • Of course!!!This can tide you over, but definately look for something else. My work are paying around £15k for a Finance Assistant.

I am starting to get a little depressed about the salary guys. I forgot to mention though that they are supporting during the study of the Accounting Qualification if I stay on past the probation period.

They also told me that after three years the salary would be more than double what I am on now...

I suppose for the time being I beggers cant be choosers, I have been looking since May 07 so I best take it for now...
  • Don't get depressed about the salary....at least it is a salary and if they're putting you through your qualifications too then that's a plus. You can always find something else down the line.

Thanks for the advice guys. Just a quick question...

Obviously you all know I have two credit cards and recently had a personal loan rejected (missed a few payments of the credit cards in the last couple of months)

Is there any chance I would get accepted for a 0% crdit card with either min, egg or capital one considering my past. Even if I tell them that I have recently got a new job etc? Or will applying just mess my credi score even more?

In my opinion it would just mess up your score more - I could be wrong though as I'm no expert - I know CC companies are turning down alot more people at the moment in general due to the economy at the mo....
