How do I improve my credit score

Hi,so I currently have about 7k worth of debt and a diabolical credit score .I want to repair this ASAP.
I know about not trying to obtain credit and keeping up payments to creditors but is there anything else I can do ? I can not get accepted for any type of credit so getting a credit card or loan is not an option

Your aim isn't to improve your score, but to improve your history.

What do your three credit files show?

If your current status is so bad that you can't get any kind of credit card, then repayment and time will be needed to improve your files.

Do you have any defaults, arrears, late payments or any other negative influences on your credit files?

1 Pay on time
2 Dont close old accounts unless they are charging a fee
3 Are you on the electoral roll
4 Do you rent. If so, sign up to property ladder


Any more info? What debts do you have. Loans or credit cards... credit limits?


Are you on your utility bills?
