Chevrolet Captiva Injectors

I bought a 2nd hand Chevrolet Captiva on finance last year from Vauxhall Eden dealership. At the time I got an extended warranty for 3 years.
Now here we are 1.5 years later, in the space of the last 13 months I have had to have 7 injectors replaced... 7! (Injectors = 1 x 3 times, 2 x 1 time, 3 x 1 time, 4 x 2 times) These were all covered under warranty with no problems, but obviously once my warranty runs out I am going to have to start paying for it.
I want to write to the dealer as I feel it's either a design fault on the car, when I spoke to the service guy he said it's just one of those things and they don't know why they keep going....
Can I please have some advice on where I stand, can I ask that they either extend my warranty to cover all costs of injectors that fail (if I can how long can I ask for?) Or to cover all costs of injectors themselves??
Thanks
