I have just started to send documents via email and today I sent a c v and covering letter and was asked if I could resend them in word;)
My p c came with works8 which I installed and use.
How can I get round this problem or would it be easier to install word
Any suggestions please:D

By defaullt MS Works saves its files as filename.wps. Word files have the format filename.doc
Open your document in works and seklect file/save as from the menu. You will see a drop down list of file types. Choose Word 2003.
Should do the trick. No need to install Word.No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
get the open office suite https://www.openoffice.org. You can create/save documents in ms word or pdf and it is far superior than anything in works. and its freeNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0
