Defrosted fridge freezer, fridge temp now too high.

might explain the freezer being colder as it is running to try and get the fridge down to temp.
(don't think this is frost free so it may work differently to my samsung which does have an airflow flap)
It's definitely not frost free and when it's running I can hear the trickling water noise is coming from the freezer area. Though if it's the air flow flap, I'm not sure how to get to it - there's no obvious connection hole between the fridge and freezer I can see.
I unscrewed a panel at the back of the freezer compartment and saw just a copper pipe, not the vent I was expecting. Looking up from the compressor I can't see anything servicable there.0
