3 Hutchinson marked accounts as settled

Options
Hi,

I recently noticed on my credit account that 3 had marked a closed account as settled, I never missed a payment, owed any money or closed the account t early. I had another account with them that I closed last month, again, never missed a payment, owed no money or closed the account early (I left it running paying it for nearly an extra year without using the phone), they have also marked this account as settled.

How do I get these changed to closed accounts?

Thank you in advance.

K

Why do you want to remove the settled mark? That tells lenders you successfully cleared them.

Settled is good. It indicates to a potential lender that a credit account has been fully paid up and then closed.

  • Settled means closed.

Satisfied mean closed likely with a token payment made to clear a default or late payments.

Settled is the better of the two
