Just returned from my Tesco trip.

The Vanity Fair voucher scanned with no problems.

The Mail book voucher didn't scan, but it went through manually, so I'm a happy shopper today

If you go to the Center Parcs webite via the link, the information for the discount is there.

My DM book token did not go through this morning, even when the SA tried typing the number in!
The Vanity Fair one went through fine.

Can confirm that Vanity Fair scans on the self service check out but the book token doesnt scan  Probably because it is such a small and fuzzy barcode?

Used 4 DM Book Tokens so far and all had to be typed in. The magazine vouchers were no problem.

Who was the lady buying 28 Daily Mails in front of me? She then went on and took around 20 Tesco mags. ;)

Never pay more than you have too
  • If you want to be even cheekier, try using the £2.80 voucher in DM to buy another four copies of the DM!!

    That's just insane...

She should have waited and stocked up on Friday when the Mail is only 45p! :D

I just wanted to check if anybody has actually used this token in Tescos? I only ask because it clearly says on the token in the paper that it can only be used at participating stores and you must check on www.nationalbooktokens.co.uk for those participating stores If you go to that site Tesco does not seem to be participating. Is it really worth getting this token?

    thanks in advance

SA put it through mannually for me - bar code is tiny and did not scan
