I'm really sorry if you see me repeating this question but nobody has replied to my question.
"Is this the Daily Mail book coupon that everyone is using to buy their weekly food shop with?"
    Grateful of any replies.

Yes, but Id be careful when using it. Some SAs will take it, others wont. Tesco can not claim the money back on these as they are not in the national book token scheme.

so it's best to use it only when buying the book or any book?
  • be careful of putting it through on self-scan - on my store it automatically triggered the system to require staff authorisation. you may not even be able to use it when buying the book, as the coupon is to reduce the book to half price, and the book usually is already reduced anyway by Tesco.

You'll probably get away with it on self scan either Sat or Sun, before they cotton on and update the system as it's a new barcode each month. fingers crossed it's in Saturday's DM!

    Good Morning All,

    Saturday 3rd November

Please post here if you get any of today's newspapers or have the chance to look through one.
Please tell us if any of them contain coupons or freebies or vouchers OR NOT !

    Important details are:
    The cost of the newspaper
    Whether it's a regional edition
    Page number
    Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can.
Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

    MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - only selected stores scan
    Xwrd - Crossword
    PUZ - Puzzle
    T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

Lets hope today is a good one for coupons

    SATURDAY newspaper pricing details:

    Sun 55p / Star 55p / Mirror 60p / Express 70p / Mail 70p
    Times £1.40 / Independent £1.40 / Guardian £1.50 / Telegraph £1.50

A new feature added at the request of several avid Newspaper Summary threads readers.
A link to the "MAGAZINE Offers" thread - worth checking post #1 & #2 and the last page probably on a daily basis.

Info copied from Quoia's most recent Saturday post, so hoping this info is still all up to date!

Not that it is not lovely to hear from you all :p - but anyone know what has happened to Quoia ? or Crocker for that matter ?
Hope they are both ok, not heard from Quoia since MSE went down last weekend, and not heard from Crocker in ages - or is it me that needs my eyes testing again ?
