Hi, Im getting a pay rise at work through promotion. My income currently is £12,250 per annum part time 24hours, my new income will be £16,000 32 hours a week so a little over the 2500 income disregard on tax credits My question is this will housing benefit/tax credit use gross or net per annum? If they use net pay figure…

I email HB always however ive never had am issue with tax credits so im not as reluctant to take names etc. I have had a nightmare in the past with HB in regards to change of circumstances.
Im not increasing pension payments.
