false tracking numbers

I have several items ordered , seems that I have been "conned" into believing the items were in the UK , , and a look at feedback later (my fault) shows that they will be coming from china

the estimated dates for delivery were only 6 working days , so it did not "click"

first item is only a couple of quid

second item is a motorcycle petrol tank , according to my postie "far to big for us " , parcel farce or the likes of hermes

have the chinease found a string of tracking numbers that they can issue? starting JV83

The RM site does not seem to be working this weekend and I got this message yesterday and today while checking for an item I have sent.

I had the "item advised" on the tracking with an expensive item i bought this week.

Just means they have arranged the tracking but not yet dropped the parcel off. My item arrived within 4 days of my purchase, same 48 hour delivery also.

So probably a Chinese seller with stock in the UK.

no real surprise. many chinese sellers use UK warehouses and send RM Tracked.
FYI a bike petrol tank easily falls into the Tracked size restrictions

I was surprised my item was just the standard 48h delivery. Item was cheap compared to other sellers. Cheaper than ones listed from China or Malaysia which is not normally the case.

Usually the stuff i buy is a little dearer when they say shipped from the UK.
