    Awwh, that's a lovely idea! I remember seeing little nightlights somewhere that gave a faint glow for a few hours then switch themselves off. might be worth a look. Also (as a fellow sufferer!) night cream and eye gel might be a good addition, I find these sorts of ritual things good before going to bed as they help get me into the "I must sleep now" routine! cel x

    You could also make a lavender sachet for her bed or pillow. Buy some dried lavender and sew into some spare fabric and bobs your uncle :)

  • I find that the avon pillow mist is really good and also a while ago they did a pulse points roll on in different scents i got the peaceful one and its really good..x

    Floating spa lights, pack of 2 for £1 from Poundland. They take 3 AAA batteries and they change colours. They float in the bath.

    I got the expensive ones for my Mum's hamper and for myself, at £7 odd for two last year they are just the orange glow ones. They are fab - I can't recommend them enough! Especially for £1 for 2, you;re not breaking the bank.

    Also, Poundland are selling the towelling pillows with suckers on for the bath again which I got last year for my hampers and also went down a treat.

    Lavender essential oil, couple of drops on her pillow will knock her right out, guaranteed.

    Ooh and a tiny bit of brandy in that hot choccy will defo be a winner ;) promise
