EDF Bill
Hi
I have received a letter from EDF saying I owe them nearly £1500! from December 2011 to October 2011 With the final bill being issued on 14/7/2013 . I have no idea what this is about and I checked my old bank statements just to cross reference and at the time I was paying my energy bills to E.ON.
Before I send them a letter asking for more info I thought I would check on here as a friend told me to post here for some advice.
What should my next step be as I am rather worried this will affect my credit score etc..

Send them the proveit letter available here

It's up to them to prove you owe the alleged debt, not at this stage for you to prove that you don't owe the alleged debt.
Send the above letter and see what they reply with.0 -
What the hell... I just got another bill today (Or rather my Step son did! and he has never even had a electricity account...
What can I do about this as it is clear they are sending random letters to whomever they feel like?
Surely this is a serious breach of standards set out for Energy companies??
What a bunch of Thieves and cowboys EDF are0
