Spare Keys

I have only 1 set keys for my VW Transporter Van. what is the cheapest way for me to get new key, that will open van, and start the van.

Get a quote from VW and also by an independent auto locksmith.

From VW it is very expensive. Their must be cheaper options in getting spare key ??
I have seen some on internet, but some advice on a good one would help

VW will add a new immobiliser to your van's electronics. If you lose a key, the lost one can be removed from the electronics.

Your local locksmith or key-cutter can clone the existing key. The van will only think there's one key. If you lose a key, it cannot be removed from the electronics.
