accidental melon seedlings
Options
Hi all.
I threw a whole load of melon seeds on the compost a few weeks ago and now have about 25 seedlings just popped up.
Is there any point me thinning and growing them on?
My hunch is we are way too late in the year for these to do anything, but it seems a shame to waste them

When things like this pop up, I tend to give them a try and see what happens. A couple of years ago I put marjoram cuttings in the compost, and now I have it popping up everywhere in Spring. I save the good ones and just pull the rest. I've also got a mini nursery of about a dozen oak seedlings. I'm just loathed to pull them, so I pot them up
Accidental Melon Seedlings is a great name for a band
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0 -
