Mag dailies - chasing wins

I've been lucky enough to win 3 prizes over the last few months on mag dailies but I've had to chase all of them and yet to receive any.
Has anyone ever had a mag daily actually arrive within the 28 days as they specify?

Yes, my last prize from a Mag daily turned up next working day after I got the wem, the previous one was in the same week as the wem too. I have never had to chase a Mag Daily win, and I've won quite a few.
CTW wins on the other hand have sometimes been a nightmare trying to get them and in one case never got it at all despite months of chasing and promises it and then a second one was sent.0 -
I am convinced that a lot of prizes never go out to anyone.
Especially with the marketing agencies that sub-contract out - if you win with one of those they take what seems like an eternity to send out, the sub-contracted agency.
I got so fed up of being polite and asking for my prize with one of these, that I decided to go to the well known company who's prize it was directly and received it within 24 hours with bonus stuff as an apology - I can only suggest you do this, ALWAYS be polite and forward on all the "you will be getting this next week" "it was sent out yesterday" "we should have these out to you within 3 days" etc because it exposes them for what they are and also the company concerned are then wiser and can pick a competent agency to do their promotion next time.Logic will get you from A to B but imagination can take you anywhere!
Being honest may not get get you a lot of friends - but it will get you the right ones.
Let your past make you better, not bitter.0 -
I've had a to chase a few too. I agree with Mummyfrugal - be polite, but persistent - usually it just takes a few emails copying in the sender of the wem & the prize provider too.
Good luck! I hope they come through soon

Oh I had the 'it was posted out last week' thing this week and surprise surprise nothing yet0 -
Haha, sent an email half an hour ago copying in the original prize contact.
Then on a Friday night 11pm I get this:
'Your order has been placed with the warehouse, this will take a few weeks to be processed. We will let you know when you can expect the food.' hmm lets see...0 -
When dmri send you a wem, it usually has a contact email for the company supplying the prize. I immediately send this contact an email saying "Happy to have won, great prize, looking forward to delivery etc." and this seems to have worked. I haven't had delivery problems since I started doing this.0

Last win from Look mag actually arrived quite quickly (£100 beauty voucher) came via e mail but the 3 months supply of mug shots a week later but only sent 13! and as the question was "how many flavours?" 18 was surprised that in the 13 many were duplicated must admit thought 1 a day ie nearer 100. but obviously 1 a week. Think that often as said before these prizes don't make it out guess some office staff enjoyed a mug shot each! It is music news and film news I am having problems with though. Hope you get your prize x0
