Acetone i.e. most types of nail varnish remover on a cotton bud or small piece of cloth, have a bucket of warm soapy water handy to wash it away or if you leave it on it may eat through your paintwork.0

I told you how to in the previous thread. Get some tar & glue remover and use that.Following advice on here I have now successfully removed the number plate from my trailer board.
Can someone please tell me how I can remove the adhesive double sided tape from the number plate without damaging the backing?0 -
