Unfortunately I have to go and visit a relation at this hospital in Oxford Street, Manchester.
Can anyone please recommend a reasonable priced hotel or B&B close by?
Thanks - Jack

Best bet to stay at one of the Ibis in the city centre a quick 5 min bus trip down Oxford Road will suffice a taxi shouldn't cost much or it's a brisk walk away, busiest bus route in Europe so no worries there! You could also try the Premier Lodge near the G-Mex. Some of the one's nearer the hospital are a bit suspect.2p off is still 2p off!0

You could always try this one http://www.meeting.co.uk/dayshotel/
Its attached to the Manchester University Conference Centre on Sackville Street right in the University campus and about a 10-15 minute walk from the hospital.
Would agree with other suggestion about Ibis, there is one on Princes Street which carries onto Upper Brook Street and the hospital entrance is just off this road.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0 -
Also your best bus to catch would be the new 147 service which costs 50p! It travels round near Oxford Rd and the hospital.2p off is still 2p off!0
