M&S Credit Card Success - sort of!

Hi,
I very rarely post on the forum, usually just using the site to find advice or information. However I wanted to post to let people know I have just had some success (sort of!) reclaiming PPI from M&S. I did it using the Resolver tool without expecting anything back at all. I’d had PPI with my credit card, which was paid off and closed down a couple of years ago. All I could remember about the PPI was being led to believe that my application would be more likely to be rejected if I didn’t have it. Being a skint clueless student at the time I went for it. They came back to me rejecting my claim, but went on to say that the rules regarding non-disclosure of commission did apply to my credit agreement and I was entitled to redress, so they would be sending me a cheque for £1016 within 28 days! I may not have got my PPI back but I’m happy with that result and wouldn’t have got it without this site!
