Thanks for posting. Christmas is a time of fun for many, but there should be at least a moment of reflection for all.Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

The poem brought many tears to my eyes, it is really lovely. I would also like to offer my condolences for the loss of your daughter. Thank you for sharing your idea with us. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the glitter of Xmas but I always like to take time to remember those who can't be with us.I was a twin mum +2 but have been a twin mum +3 for a few years now.0

The baby one is lovely thanks;)
I am not doing myself any favours I am reading this listening to Gorecki's symphony of sorrowful songs  If you have not heard it listen to it even if you don't speak Polish it will make you weep. But it is somehow uplifting.
I am going to print the poem and put it in a little book with the scan picture and a couple of cards people sent me.
I think we should let rip once in a while it is better than bottling it all up.
A robin used to watch my Dad when he was working in the garden.
I saw a robin on the day I found out I was pg and I saw one again on the day I found out the baby had died.
Xmas always makes me cry, bits of it like brass bands, xmas carols and little kids who still believe in santa.

These poems are lovely. Thank you for posting them. Certainly brought a tear to my eye. A girl I work with recently lost her dad and this will be her first Christmas without him, they were very close and I think she would like the penny poem.
Thanks

Certainly entirely appropriate for the celebrations board
I have no intentions whatso ever of moving it
And if you want to post the idea for a baby too I think that would be lovely...without a doubt!
