Can my car fail it's MOT with the service on??

Hi there,

Can anyone help please, my car is going in for an MOT on Monday and this morning my service light came on!

Can my vehicle fail it's MOT with this light on as I can't get it into the garage till next Friday for its service.

Not if it says service. It is engine management and other warning lights such as ABS and airbag which are a fail.

Just have a look on you-tube for your car and re-set it before it goes in then you are not worrying about it.
Its normally a 30 second job

And make sure you book it in for the service as soon as reasonable (within the limits allowed for in the service schedule).
