Hello there. Wondering if anyone can advise me on this. Tonight I deposited into creditpoint in envelope some cash intended for my current account .
Am now concerned will this may not go in tomorrow morning, as my friend has since told me this facility is just for business customers.
I can not get to bank at all tomorrow, so am bit worried as to what will happen.
Many thanks for replies.

Hi,
Was this via a ATM?
Or was it through the dropbox/EPI
As long as you put the account details and sort code on the envelope then it will be fine, the drop box will be opened first thing tomorrow and credited

Thanks Westie!
All my details have been written on slip and put in drop box / letterbox for deposits next to ATM. Phew! And thanks again.0 -
I was told the reason personal customers were stopped from using the envelopes was that the bank could not guarantee that they would be processed before the cut off time.
So if you had put in money say to cover a direct debit but the bank bounced it you would be hacked off.0 -
Oh dear. Now I am confused.

The envelopes do say it will be processed before end of working day, if after the cut off of 4pm it will be the following day.
Its been sorted now but EPI's are still in Loyds branches but smaller branches have decide to close the facility as the counters are quieter and can process the transaction straight away.
Changes are afoot in Lloyds branches as they begin to become counter reduced, my local one is no longer going to have a counter from September so no coin service but cash payment is still done via the paying in machines.
