Hello,
Just moved into a property that has a electric sub-meter . whats the standard units per pound coin. I think at an estimate mine is about 4.8 units per pound. Ive never had to deal with coin meters before so any info would be great.

It will vary - your landlord is not allowed to make a profit but he can recover the costs of the electrical distribution/.
You have no choice of supplier.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Most electricity suppliers charge 15p per unit or less so if you are getting less than 6 units per £ ask your landlord / supplier to justify why it is so high.0
