Official switch over to Octopus today
My switch is completed today as per plan. My direct debit with EDF was on 1st August. According to my calculations I will be approx in credit by £20. EDF said not to cancel dd until final account is closed. Shall I leave the dd with EDF as it is or do I need to cancel when the account is closed.? Can EDF cancel dd from their side? Thanks

Do it yourself then you know it's cancelled0

It's your bank account: only you can cancel it. All EDF can do is to cease drawing on it.No free lunch, and no free laptop
