Virgin Media - 14 Day Cancellation?

Signed up for fibre, phone and TV, was given a date for installation today 01/08 and this was confirmed in an email.
I signed the digital contract, of which I have a copy. I didn't know nor check (stupid me) that somehow the date had changed and they had contract date as 02/08.
I've taken time off work today for installation, I could have done self install but given a disability I opted to pay the £40 for them to it - previously been a customer so self-install was available.
I can't be in for install tomorrow.
Problem I have is, trying to get an answer as to why I have two dates from VM via phone or web chat is impossible and I am so flustered, I've decided I no longer want this service.
Despite me signing this digital contract, can I cancel as no services have been installed. I am still in the 14 day period of signing up online.
