Viking Courier Guy Yelled at Us!!! Grrrr

We ordered from Viking (stationery) on Thu expecting next day delivery as they normally do. Nothing received Friday - ok these things happen, I was desp for a printer cartridge (plus ordered other items) but could manage until Monday. Nothing received on Monday - by this time I was shaking cartridge to get a dozen more pages and then shaking it again etc. By Tuesday I decide to call Viking who checked with courier and said delivery was on the van that day - no idea why but they would look into it. Tuesday...you guessed it...no delivery! I called Viking on Wed who arranged a new order to be sent and said they would track the original one but I should refuse delivery if it did arrive. Today the courier arrived with this replacement order and yelled at us!!! He said he left the original one in our front garden!! Our front garden is about 4 ft long if that, is beside a bus stop on very busy street and on a dual carriage way and he left two big boxes there without attempting to see if we were in (dogs bark like mad if they do and we have bell and knocker and were both in all day). Needless to say there were no parcels anywhere in garden but as its open flat garden with no plants or anything it would be hard to miss anything anyway! He started yelling about fraud and how he was calling the police etc and how 'he would never leave another parcel for us unless we were in to receive it'!!!!! Funnily enough we did not want him to leave parcels if we were not in anyway!

So to summarise HE left parcel unattended at some point on Tuesday (we think but not sure as he did not confirm date), despite us being in house and despite nowhere to hide it and tiny garden and he yells at us about fraud and police etc!!! The order was only £80 - I think I would prefer a larger 'prize' than a printer cartridge and some paper if I decided to become a criminal. Complaint now made to Viking and once I know the courier companies name I will name and shame them on here! Terrible service.

(have to say viking were shocked too and say they will investgate and get back to me about it so no problem with viking, only their courier company who they would not tell me the name of just now).
