Virgin Money Credit Card Plevin claim

enCrypt
Hi All,
I have used the Resolver to make a Plevin claim on an old Virgin Money Credit Card I used to have.
Virgin Money responded to me to say that it is actually MBNA that I need to make the claim with.
They have forwarded my claim onto them and gave me MBNA's address / phone number should I need to write to them or phone them.
This was on 18th June, and I've heard nothing from MBNA at all since.
I've just asked Virgin to chase them up via the Resolver portal but they're saying I need to write to them or phone them and the matter is closed with them now (Virgin)
I'm loathe to do this outside of the Resolver portal but it seems I don't have much choice...
Has anyone had the same thing?
Any advice?
Thanks,
Mark...

Deal direct.
Much quicker and easier than relying on Resolver to mess it up for you.0 -

Why are you loathed to do it normally rather than use a tool that harvests your data to sell on an aggregated basis?
You complained to the wrong company. That company is not responsible for handling your complaint. You need to send it to the right place.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Ok thankyou for the advice, I'm afraid I'm very naive when it comes to matters like this.
I just don't understand a lot of it.
I'll write to them separately and see what happens.

Just ring up MBNA and ask them what's going on, will only take a few minutes and gets you the details of their reference number etc
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
