Co-Op banking app not deleting old payees

Logged onto my Co-Op banking app earlier, and realised there is an old Halifax current account, and an old Tesco Internet Saver still listed in the list of payees when I want to send money. Both these accounts were deleted from my internet log-on, and do not appear there. How can I delete them from the app? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but they still appear.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Isn't it annoying? I ended up ringing them and they said that over the phone was the only way to do it! I went through the list of people and they took them off one by one - well they left one but I'd lost the will.
Very frustrating in this day and age! It's also ridiculous that every time you change a reference to the same payee they are set up as a separate person. So for one of my grandchildren I have 5 entries, one happy birthday, one happy Easter etc etc. All the same child!

I agree, totally ridiculous that the app doesn't follow the desktop version when payees are deleted/changed.
Wonder if its worth a concerted effort to contact them?
Perhaps if we all complain & demand 'compensayshun' they might take notice:cool:0 -

Come on, having spent close to £1.5bn trying to replace their core banking system to no avail and nearly crashing the bank as a result and still not merging the Britannia systems after 10 years of trying not very hard, do you really think such minutiae even registers at Co-op Towers?
